As an independent supplier of stock images, Photosphere's mandate has always been to provide royalty free stock images that aren't available everywhere. We are not a stock photography portal - we represent individual photographers, illustrators and independent publishers. We believe in ‘creative expression’ and give our contributors the freedom to showcase their best images. | Photosphere Chooses to Remain Independent!!! We're been taking some time and rebuilding our website and editing our stock photo image files. We've also been reviewing our business model to ensure that we make money for our contributors and investors. Most of all we've been thinking about what kind of company, and ultimately, image supplier we wanted to be. All of this has taken a lot longer than we wanted - but the stock photography industry is going through major changes, and we wanted to review our long-term planning. We're happy to say that we have finally completed our beta stage testing and are in the final stages of uploading our image library, only 168,549 images to go!
It's been a long wait for us, our photographers, and our customers - but sometimes you need to sit back and take a long hard look at where you are and where you're going, and you continue into the future. |
